Volunteer Opportunities

We offer a variety of roles to match your interests, skills, and availability:

  • Floor Support – Greet museum visitors, answer questions, and help keep exhibit areas tidy

  • Activity Assistant – Support staff during special programs like Mini Makers or school break camps

  • Event Help – Assist with larger events like Family Free Night or Fairy Tale Ball

  • Admin & Behind-the-Scenes – Help with organizing supplies, prepping materials, or simple clerical work

When Can I Volunteer?

Volunteer shifts are available weekdays and weekends during museum hours, with flexible scheduling based on your availability. Opportunities vary throughout the year, especially during holidays and summer break.

Volunteer Requirements

  • Background checks may be required

  • Volunteers must be at least 16 years old

  • Volunteers under 18 will need a signed parent/guardian consent form

  • All volunteers receive a brief orientation and on-site training
